I’m Julie, and I bring both creative thinking and structured organization to my role as Director of Marketing at Wilcox Financial Group.
My job sits at the intersection of creativity, systems, and values. From streamlining processes behind the scenes to making sure our brand truly reflects who we are, I care deeply about the details—especially when it comes to how we show up for clients. I love finding thoughtful, personal ways to express gratitude and connection, because those moments matter.
I lead the creative direction for our articles, newsletters, and social media, helping translate complex ideas into content that feels clear, human, and aligned with our mission. While financial planning itself isn’t my background (and yes, it can feel like rocket science at times), the work we do here goes far beyond the subject matter. It’s about impact, growth, and building something meaningful—and that’s what pulled me in.
Before this role, my background was in interior design, where creativity, aesthetics, and attention to detail were essential. I still bring that same lens to my work today. I’m also a mom of two young children and a small business owner, and Wilcox Financial has given me a sense of connection and purpose that fits this season of my life. Even though this role is outside my traditional field, it feels like a natural fit—working alongside people who are innovative, uplifting, and genuinely committed to growth.
My favorite Wilcox Financial Group core value is radical support. I believe everyone deserves people in their corner—people who cheer them on, meet them where they are, and help them grow. One of the reasons I love working here is the culture itself. I enjoy being part of a team that wants to be here, that challenges the idea of doing things a certain way just because “that’s how it’s always been done,” and that values learning as much as outcomes.
I may not have fallen in love with the job because of the subject matter—but I fell in love with the lessons, the people, and the culture it creates. And that makes all the difference.
