Blake Lindquist

Associate Financial Advisor

I’ve spent more than five years in the financial services industry, with experience as an independent financial professional and in the banking industry. I hold my FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, along with life, accident, and health insurance licenses.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned that the part of this work I value most is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and help people better understand their finances. I believe education is an important part of financial planning, and I want clients to understand the “why” behind the decisions they’re making—both today and for the future.

My interest in finances began well before it became my career. Growing up in a family of five, I watched my father navigate the financial ups and downs of owning a business while building a strong foundation for our family. I saw his willingness to adapt, learn, and keep moving forward through challenges, and those experiences sparked a curiosity about how money works that has stayed with me.

My own experiences have reinforced that interest. My wife and I have encountered financial situations that showed me firsthand the value of being informed and prepared. Those experiences strengthened my desire to help others better understand their financial lives and make thoughtful decisions based on their individual circumstances and goals.

Before joining Wilcox Financial Group, I worked at a bank, where I gained valuable experience and discovered how much I enjoyed developing relationships with clients. At the same time, I wanted the opportunity to take a more comprehensive approach—to spend more time educating clients, understanding what matters to them, and helping them consider how different pieces of their financial lives work together.

That search ultimately led me to Wilcox Financial Group. I was drawn to the team’s client-focused, ethics-driven approach and emphasis on education and relationships. Joining Wilcox gave me the opportunity to continue developing professionally while doing the kind of work that initially drew me to financial services.

I believe financial planning is about more than numbers. Life can change in ways we don’t anticipate, and thoughtful planning can help people better understand their choices and make informed decisions as their circumstances evolve. My goal is to provide education and guidance that helps clients approach those decisions with greater understanding and confidence.

I’m based in Melbourne, Florida, where I work remotely as part of the Wilcox Financial Group team and collaborate closely with my colleagues in Buffalo.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends. My faith is an important part of my life, and one of my favorite traditions is visiting my family’s lake house in Maine each summer, where we enjoy spending time together on the water and celebrating the Fourth of July.

I’m grateful to be part of Wilcox Financial Group and look forward to building relationships with the individuals and families we serve.
